A Case of Infected Urachal Cyst

Abstract
|
|
|
A 2-year7old male infant who has had infcted urachal cyst was reported. The cyst contained a thick mucopurulent exudate which on culture yielded Staphylococcus aurew, coagulase positive. Successful treatment of the cyst was accompolished by the help of I & D and antibiotic medication.
Pertinent literatures concerning urachal cyst were also reviewed.
